Worked in industry for a small startup for a couple years, former member of the open source project streamsicle (http://sourceforge.net/projects/streamsicle/), written code for all sorts of things ranging from rules based AI health claims fraud detection systems to synchronization code for a ride in Disney World to code for atomic force microscopes (http://www.cs.unc.edu/Research/nano/cismm/nm/index.html).
